What is a black and white polarizer? Are there polarizers made specifically for shooting in b & w? If so, why would you use one in color photography?

B&W is a German Glass Mfr. MT recommended the B&W polarizer. It's an excellent piece of equipment. Thanks, MT.

Thanks everyone for looking and commenting. The detail came from shooting @ 85mm.
The scene will be very interesting at/just before sunrise. The front range turns an exquisite pink. Maybe this weekend.
