All the photos in this string, PLEASE, no PhotoShopped entries, okay? Just dig through all your image files looking for the bazaar, strange, unusual -- people, places and things. And if you don't mind, please give us a short description of the Who, What, Why, When and Where of the photo(s).

The first photo I'm submitting was taken about 3 years ago, in February, parked along a street in Louisiana, Missouri. We were in a little river-side park way up on a high bluff and just happened to look south along a street... and there was this most ususual "bus" I've ever seen. The license plate was from New York. Lettering on the back and sides say "Teva Learning Center" Other lettering on the side says, "Make An Impact, Change Your World" and "The Jewish Climate Change Campaign". Believe It Or Not?

While on a quest to photo Bald Eagles along the Mississippi, I zoomed in with my 2,400mm lens on this majestic bird. Believe It Or Not

I posted these on another thread but thought they were fitting for this one as well. These are totally unedited images straight from the SD card.

Been studying that photo for the last ten minutes, trying to figure out how he plays the drums... with ropes tied to his wrists and ankles it looks like?

Well, okay, here's another one. Last year while traveling through the petrified forest of North Dakota... or maybe it was South Dakota, anyway, I ran across this petrified tree that had been carved out by the last ice-age glacier. Pretty weird, huh? Believe It Or Not

This was taken a two years ago in downtown Atlanta, GA, the Stormtroopers are part of the DragonCon Convention Parade. This convention is held every year on Labor Day weekend. Speilburg said that there were more "Troopers" in the parade than were cast in any of the Star Wars movies. Chewbaca was also in the parade; as were many, many others from various genre of Sci-Fi.

Nope, maham, not a film camera. I think the "Believe It Or Not" part is whether or not you believe it "came unedited straight from the SD card" or not. Get my drift?

This is a Keeled Treehopper (Antianthe expansa) nymph. The characteristic keel is just starting to develop. Each time the exoskeleton is shed, the keel grows larger, while the spikes shrink. This nymph is about 2-mm in length. Approximately 10:1 mag, or 10x life-size.

Photographed in Long Beach CA.

Hand-held Nikon D90 at ISO 400 with 105-mm macro lens, 1/200-sec at f/22, filtered sunlight and SB-600 flash unit with O-Flash 3/4-ringlight attachment.

Oh, I believe you on that one, Mr. Nikonian72. It gives me the willies, though, because it look somewhat like one of those microscopic eyelash mites I've read about that EVERYBODY has crawling around in their eyelashes. Believe it or not... I think it's true.

Last March I saw this snake slithering along in the brush alongside a swamp.
At one point it wanted to climb to a higher branch and straightened it's body completely verticle in order to get up to the branch.
First time I ever saw a snake do this.
