LOL Martin did you really expect to see what you expected to see when you opened this thread????

Anyway a couple of these pics have had some pretty heavy processing, I have included the original of one of them so that you can see what I am talking about... there was a blade of grass that obscured the bee but I so liked the pic that I made an attempt to edit that out... the others had bad sun spots that needed to be cloned out.

Original

Geff: Love your hairy bee's eyes. I was hoping to give the insects a run for their money this December, but my trip to SoCal had to be cancelled. Now I have to wait for Spring. Curious if you've had any success with mothballing the macro with dessicant (sp?) packs?

Hey Geff, all are very good shots, but #3 & #5 are great!
I really do like them and I think you did a very good job

No still not working but I think that actually in a way it has been a good experience as I am doing more with the simple reverse.. I think that in the long run I my photography will be better with this setup... and I still have my 180mm macro.

Liking the reversed on the tube trick.. Glad your working around the downed 100mm. Nice Photos and Nice clone job too.
PS I thought the head on the last one would look a little different..
