I'm using PSE 11, but I can't open my raw files for D600, but I can open the raw files from my D3000. I've researched this and I've down loaded/installed Adobe DNG Converter 7.3, which I thought might be the problem. I still can not open them. Now I lock up in PSE Editor when I try to open a raw file. I did a search on UHH, but have not found my exact problem. My error message in PSE says "could not complete request because the file appears to be from camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw. Please visit the Camera Raw help documentation". Any suggestions? Thanks!

Adobe Camera Raw is different than DNG, and there are documented issues with DNG and the D600. Download ACR 7.3 and you should be in business.

Thanks PrairieSeasons. When I first found ACR 7.3 it also said DNG. I didn't realize that there was a separate download for camera raw and one for DNG.

I tired to download ACR(Camera Raw) 7.3, but it won't let me. Thanks, Durango

Open up elements. Hit the help button. One of the choices is " updates" or something like that. It will update all related packages including ACR.

I have PS 11 and ACR 7.2 and D600 files open fine. Of course that doesn't help you much, just letting you know that it CAN open those files.

You don't actually download ACR 7 you just do an update on your PSE11 and it should update the entire program including the watered down version of ACR included with PSE11. Go to help>Updates
