Back in the 80's I was one of two photographers hired by the Ellis Island group to photograph the restoration of the Statue of Liberty.
The project started 1984 and finished 1986, this is a shot that I did of the last spike being attached by workers to the crown on the head.

Thank You, Yes it is an honor, my friends and family members have gone to the Statue of Liberty and have seen my name in the lobby on a plaque with all the people involved in the restoration.
