Then perhaps it should be in the HDR section

Thanks JR1 for pointing that out to me. I keep forgetting about that section. But since it is now in this section I will just leave it here.

I enjoy your HDR, great shot.

Oh, and any type of photo is welcomed and acceptable in the photo gallery. In fact, by putting it in this section more people will be able to enjoy it.

I am sorry to say that, but your neutral shades (the gray) has too much white in it, the picture looks 'washed out'. HDR does that, makes images look 'contrasty'. Also, if you had stepped back a bit (if there was room behind you) and zoomed back on the subject, it would render the background blurred a bit. I blurred it in the editor, as well as darkened the grays. Hope you don't mind me barging on you like this, let me know if you liked it! ;)

Fotkaman, For one, I think my image looks okay on my end. I am working with two 23 inch color calibrated monitors. The original image looks great although the image I posted might look a bit different because it was downsized. I'm sorry if the image wasn't to your taste, but I create based on my taste. To each their own as they say. :-)

Fair enough!, that is, if your taste prefers foreground blending into the background...

I am not a great fan of most HDR. So I won't comment on it one way or the other.

I do, hover, have a comment about your attitude. I think you are 100% correct.

Well, correct me if I am wrong, but this is a site where a photographer posts a picture to get some feedback on it. If there is something fundamentally wrong with such picture, than what would be a better way than to show it on top of an explanation? This is how it's done everywhere else, and most of the time people appreciate to see the difference, because they just learned something. Oh, if a person is only interested in being patted on the back and hearing "a nice shot", then they should state that they're not interested in any other comments.
In this particular case, I've spent time and shared experience/knowledge over this image, politely explaining what I thought about the DoF and HDR artefacts. Instead of getting a thank-you, I have to defend myself. What's wrong with this picture?

Fotkman, I'm not upset with you or your comments about my image. My skin is thicker than most. There are however Hedgehog rules for tweaking someone else images and reposting them back in to that persons original post without their permission. With that being said, I would also like to say that I appreciate reading everyone's feedback on each and every image I post in this forum including yours. I don't always agree with their opinion but it does make me revisit my image and try to look at it through their eyes. I have to say, that I am not an expert nor do I make a living from my photography. Like I said earlier, I process my images to my taste. If people like them, great, if they don't then that's okay as well. You started out your comment with ," I sorry to say, but...... etc. Your opinion and you know what they say about opinions. Anyway, we tend to disagree on this one.
