Was lucky enough to get my new lens before the snowy Owls decided to leave and lucky enough to find them again.

Thank you for the info. ? Why did you have your ISO set so high? Was it dark out when you took these shots? Just that something is keeping these shots from being spot on.
ISO was high due to dark clouds & overcast. Anything lower didn't show the yellow eyes. They look good to me and I'm really happy with them. Thanks for looking ;)
Beautiful!!! I think snowy owls are so interesting to look at. Great job!

Thanks Debbie, they are pretty fascinating to watch. I feel lucky that I've been able to see them on 3 seperate occassions.
Amazing profile in #2. You must be the envy of many a birder!

Last year was the first time they had visited in 7 years and we had over a dozen. This year I have only seen two. I feel very lucky getting to see them, hope they keep visiting.

Just my humble opinion buy I think the focus is a tad off in #1 and #2 but #3 is supurb. All nice shots but 3 is great.

I agree, 1 and 2 look soft. 3 Is my pick. 2 looks focused on the farthest wing. Hard to tell since you did not hit download original.
