Hi
These are a few more that I took today. They are all photo stacked with combine and altered in Picasa 3.
Dew drops #1
Dew drops #2
Pollen-laden anther
Do you mean focus-stacked instead of "photo stacked"? If so, the pollen-laden face of your anther in image #3 is not in focus. You need to lengthen your travel of focus beyond the closest and farthest points. This guarantees captured focus. You will need to increase the number of exposures to do this.
yes focus stacked. Thanks for that tip looking at it now I see what you mean, I'll do that in the future, many thanks.

Hi steve1oshea, I see you found where you should be. No 2, very nice. Please number your pics in the description it will help identify the pic's when people are talking about them.

Thank you. I have just done so.
I may be able to provide some pointers, but first a couple of questions: How are you adjusting the plane of focus? And why f/11?
Hi
I try to focus on one of the drops and then focus on the next drop. The most images I took are 5, this is not enough. It was explained that I needed to take more exposures and go beyond the object to ensure good focus. I read that F11 would give me good DOF but upon further reading I need to experiment with different aperatures. I was using a tripod as this was the first time I used camera and lens. Any pointers would be greatly received. many thanks.
Thanks Baz I will in future
Hi Nikonian72. I'm Kenny Wright from Florida. I was just reading some info on Photo Stacking that you have. I have never heard of it until now. Please excuse me, I have Dementia, and sometimes it gets pretty difficult for me. I am 73 years old, and have been in photography for over 30 years. I stay involved as much as I can.
My question to you my friend is......can I use Photoshop Elements 10 with Photo Stacking, or do I need Photoshop,(That I don't have) to do Photo Stacking.
Thank you,
Kenny
I will defer your question to fellow Hoggers more experienced with Photo-Stacking than I.

I do
Focus stacking but I don't use either of the programs you mentioned. I use Helicon Focus for stacking and then finish processing in iPhoto (Mac user). Hopefully there are others who stack who can assist with your question.
Hi
I have just started focus stacking and am using Combine ZM which is free to download. It seems ok to me but again I to am a novice at stacking. Good luck.
