A bunch of lilies placed by patio doors, sprayed with water using household squeezy spray bottle. Using pop up flash Olympus E600 at ISO 200, with Sigma 105-mm macro lens. 1/180sec at f/11. Focusing 1:1 Am having problems with images being under exposed, using spot metering with no compensation. how much compensation do you usually give? Please advise. Many thanks

Quite good results for initial attempts. Exposure looks okay to me. I always shoot manual, based on first proper exposure (via trial & error).

Are these "focus-stacked" images? If so, you need to increase number of exposures to extend DoF. I also recommend a bit of diffusion for pop-up flash. Easy to DIY: http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-32754-3.html#1177497

I do not understand how you "focus stacked" using Picasa 3.9 software. Where do I find this function?

I understand. I also prefer Picasa for my basic tweaking.
