I am new to photography but like to take pictures. I am in Florida and ride motorcycles.
My question is "If a picture is taken of a recognizable person and that picture is to be sold or used commercially is a release required and where can one be obtained?" Is a release required from every person in the picture?

Welcome...Yes , I believe if You are going to sell photos of recognizable people , you have to have a release for them. As for the forms....just put "Photo Release Forms" in search,there are a number of free form web sites .

Thank you so much for your reply. I will get forms. I have always had a fear of taking a picture and then someone come back and say I owe them money or worse, get sued.

Yes.... you don't want that....once You have the forms saved , you can print as needed.....I usually carry some in my camera bag.
