I caught this guy at Myakka State Park. They are very quick and I got lucky on this one. Roseattes were flying in and out of the trees. Critiques are always welcomed. Gary

Lovely photo's - I have never seen a bird as bright a pink as that before.
These are Roseatte Spoonbills, they are nearing mating season and they increase their color this time of year. I believe the males get a brilliant pink feather plumage on the side of their wings, which is very dramtic. Gary
