I am a fairly new photographer on the business side, but have many years of eperience on the recreational side. I love photography because it has a way of telling the story of your subjects and preserving memories.
I found this site while looking for tips on how to improve my own photography. Eventually, I would like to venture into headshots and commercial photography. However past experience led me to believe that a few of the head shots that I had taken were weak and unacceptable.
Two questions: Is there a site that offers examples of fantastic head shots? And where is the best place to learn how to get started in commercial photography?

Hello 1000memories and welcome to the UHH. Maybe post a shot or 2 in the people section of the forum...you should get a few good pointers from in there.

Welcome!!!! at the top of the page there is also a search area where you could maybe key in portraits and find lots of info too. Post some photos too, then you can get more tips from members that know more than I.
