As a physically handicapped photographer I find the articulating displays very convenient.
For macro photography, close-ups, shooting wild flowers, anywhere where the camera is close to the ground and/or on the ground I frequently use the articulating display.
This summer I plan to upgrade to a full frame D600 or EOS 6D and am finding neither cameras have articulating displays
Can anyone suggest a workaround, adapter or whatever that will add this functionality to the cameras?
Would a right angle view-finder meet your needs? They allow the photographer to look through the viewfinder from above the camera. They also have a diopter built in. I believe they are 2x. They are not cheap-- but then neither are FF DSLR bodies. The model for Nikon FF is: Nikon DR-5 Right Angle Viewfinder & is $199.95 from B&H

Why do you need full frame ?? Look at the T4i or the 60D with the Canon EF 100mm F2.8 L IS USM Macro.
OBTW - love my 7D - - but no articulating view screen <sigh>
You might consider shooting tethered to a laptop.

For some thoughts on "tethering", search for that topic in the General Discussion section on UHH.
Haven't purchased a FF body yet. Waiting for a annoucement regarding the Canon EOS 7D Mark II and/or the Nikon D7200. Both of which I believe are APS-C cameras.
I may have the model names wrong. Recently introduced to Nikon & Canon the naming conventions are confusing!
Why do a lot of model names include a 'D'?
Another feature that would nice is a 'weather-proof' body (not the correct term, but you understand what I mean)
Thanks to all for their comments.

The D was more than likely was put there to specify Digital
