The 75-300 was Canon's first IS lens, and when it first was announced many years ago I ordered one. Since the first one, Canon has changed the lens to a 70-300 IS while making it a cheaper and less quality lens.
I use mine all the time, as it is one of my favorite lenses. If the one for sale here is one of the early 75-300 IS lenses, the price is a steal!
