Hi,
Just a brief note to introduce myself, my name is Brenda and I am becoming addicted to photography! I have taken pictures for years not really knowing what I was doing, just point and shoot. Recently, I decided that I want to learn how to actually use my Canon 30D. I have been spending most weekends lately finding something beautiful in nature to photograph, luckily this time of year that isn't difficult. I love to shoot florals and anything nature.
I would appreciate any suggestions and advise.
Thanks,
Brenda

Here is a shot from last weekend. The term push was recently explained to me and I was experimenting. Am I on the right track?
Very good, Brenda...and welcome to the site. You will learn a lot here.
Nice shot... I can almost feel the sunshine on my face as I'm walking on that boardwalk :)
It was an awesome walk on the greenway. It was my first time there and I kept asking myself why I had not been there before.
Hello Brenda, welcome.
Suggestion? Stop looking for something b3eautiful and shoot it, if it is beautiful for starter, you have very little chance to do something wrong.
Go for the ordinary, the casual, the unexpected then post here and ask folks what they think could improve your images.
Cheers and good luck,
Hi English Wolf,
That is an awesome wolf picture that you have as your profile picture. Not sure I would want to be that close to those teeth though. LOL!
As stated in my profile I cannot claim being the photographer....
