I was looking for some bird pics this morning but not many around -I think most are in the gardens where I live as they get well fed there. So I had to make do with this shot.
Your "make do" is pretty awesome! It makes me cold just looking at it!

Thankyou very much, you are very kind. I suppose you are pretty warm all year round where you live?
Today is a "cold" day for us...the high is only 47. Now this past weekend it was near 70.
Very nice. Looks like the trees on the left are leaning!

thanks for viewing, well this is a crop, I think the pole on the left was leaning but it was so cold I did not spend much time getting the best angle...

Nice use of "S" curve in your composition.

Gets confusing, we used to use fahrenheit in the UK but now use Centigrade which I find easier. 0 is freezing point and 30 is around 90 Fahrenheit - almost!
I still think in gallons of petrol (gas) and pints of beer though...So your low is still pretty warm compared to us shivering in the UK, it has just dipped below freeing again.

thanks greymule, the original shot was vertical but I cropped to make it look a little "widescreen"
Yes, our low for the day (26 F) is only 6 degrees below freezing here.

Ah see how confused I get? yes 32 is freezing temp. I think parts of the county where I live hit -12 last night. When I staggered downstairs it was still -6. Your family pic looks very nice, is it possible to see a larger version (I'm still quite new on here)
Nice shot. I like this a lot.

Thanks for the comment, much appreciated
Nip out and do it again. I like the shot! But a tad central, try a full left to right so it draws the eye through the photo, remember the thirds rule. Hay I'm not a pro but, I want to develop too take a great photo and not just a good one. Keep clicking friend. As I say to myself my next photo might just be the best ever I have ever taken. It's that, that keep's me going

Here you go, these are my 4 girls. Aged 9, 5, 3, and 3! I had to pull it from FB, gotta love the blue screen of death on the computer that had all of the pictures you have taken from the past year because you "were going to get to it soon" when it comes to burning a disc
