I vote to arrest him, and put his name on the sexual predator list.
He did not know any of the girls, the girls are underage, the pictures could not be related to his job in any way and why pictures only of young girls?
I hope a judge thinks of those points and give this guy a choice - "Drop the suit" or "Face the charges in a court of law"

Just what charges would you bring?
I must admit that this is not somthing I would do and there may very well be more to the stroy. But what crime has he comitted. Are we the thought police now?
I am a strick conservative but again what has he done that is actionable, not what might he do or what was he thinking.

What did the pictures show ? Was he concentrating on girls with skirts ? Etc Etc.
Did he have permission from parents to photograph girls IN A SCHOOL YARD, not out on a pubic street etc ?
Without seeing the context of his photos, it's hard to say BUT why numerous photos and only of young girls?
I know I'll be all over his doo-doo if he was taking photos of my 12 year old daughter without my permission.

Unfortunately for you (and maybe us), we live in the US of A. We can't do that here - he committed no crime.

No doubt. That brings to mind the current case of Jessie Speer!

And you have never heard of the Protection of Children From Sexual Predators Act
October 30, 1998: Public Law No: 105-314.
http://www.prevent-abuse-now.com/law2ac.htm
Ummm..... yes, I have heard of it. Let me say again: He violated no law.
Mother: I don't know where my daughter is. She didn't come home from school today.
Police: Any strange things going on lately ?
Mother: Yes, my daughter said some man was taking pictures of her and her friends at school.
Police: Sorry. That isn't against the law.
Mother: You got to be shitting me!!!

I would no doubt be troubled to find that he took pictures of my daughter {she is much older now but I still know how I would have felt} and might take this up with him man to man, if yoiu know what I mean.
But to have the power of the State {county or whatever} brought against him may satisfy some but not me,
I googled this Jessie Speer reference but did not research it very completely {other things to do}, I see that MT shooter is from the area where this Jessie Speer case is centered. The photos will no doubt be used in his prosecution, it was the Abduction that was criminal. I hope he frys if he did the child any harm!
I don't like the idea of thought police!

Sarge, I'm not defending the guy, nor am I saying that he isn't tempting his own mortality if he took pictures of my kid. I'm only saying that there currently exists no law against his actions. Instead of making up clever scenarios in order to seem intelligent, go out and figure a way to criminalize this type of behavior that doesn't violate the constitution.

Thats great Sarge, I think the Police would have said something else in response, Like when did this happen, do you have a description of the GUY? Did you report it? Or something besides, that isn't against the law.
Why would the police destroy evidence?
