These are restored Aircraft that are part of a museum display.
They are parked along the highway and is free to the public.
From WW1 to the Viet Nam era are on display.
I took these with my Razor phone camera. Not too bad for an on the spot camera....

Fantastic. Love the vintage planes. Thank You
Sarge69
Love the old planes. Don't think I have ever seen a jet with ski's under it. High-speed tail-dragger. I don't think I would trust those pontoons to float that Sea Dart. What are they actually for--landing on Ice or what?

Hi sleepy51,
Dont know too much about it right now but I plan to go back with my 50D and take more photos. There are more on display. You might want to look at the web site to learn more.
Glad you and Sarge enjoyed them. Stay tuned.
IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE THE OLD WAR PLANES LOTS OF HISTORY THERE. THE PEANUT MAN
The SeaDart was sitting at Patuxent River Naval Air station in the 70's. I watched them load it on a barge and send it away.

Hi Woodsilv!
Well, I am not sure if this is the same one but, this one is in Pennsylvania at the outer edge of the recently closed Willow Grove Naval Air station.... This is a separate organization and they restore vintage aircraft.. So, it may have come from your area..
There are approx. 12 Aircraft and I could not get to all of them to get pictures. I plan to go back when the weather is much warmer. At one time they had a Jap Zero on display.. Neat stuff.

Don't mind at all, If you get a chance put a photo of your plane here too.. Love to see what you are flying..
You know I bet that there are a lot of flyers on the Forum, but I guess they have not found the Vintage plane thread.
Also, it would be neat to see what you have in your Museum too.
