Round - 6 - Robin not happy, chases off micky

My apologies for the quality of the pics, but they were taken today (21/01/2013) following a falling of snow in the South East of England (Essex) the weather conditions are very grey, and they were taken on zoom through a double glazed patio window using a Panasonic DMC LZ3. The dish was originally put there for the robins, as there is a nest in bird house I made some year's ago hidden above in the conifers.

This saga may continue throughout the day, subject to visits ??

Robin is not happy about Micky

Micky's mate also likes the seed

many thanks for the comments guys, we have here at the moment about 100mm of snow, so food is scarce for all, so it becomes a battle for 1st place LOL, but a pleasure to watch them dash in and out

thanks for all your comments folks, strange ?? the food is there all the time, but they seem to have "days off" ?? and then the next day they're whizzing about all the time. Although they eat the seed we put out for the birds (Robins mainly) they seem to prefer raisins and peanuts. They seem to to be so sporadic in their feeding habits and QUICK it's not always easy to film them, but don't worry the saga will continue, again thanks folks.

I used to race mini's (850cc SOUPED UP !!!!!, WOW) any way it gets interesting and the BIG boys come along, much the same in life really (bo**ocks !!!) the big boys ALWAYS screw it up for the little guys !!!!!

The bowl is about 7 or 8 inches across, so it give you an idea as to the size of the rat !!!!!
