Little slugger

1/160 @ f/22 105 @ 1:1 with 68mm ext+ some PP cropping. Flash at M & 1/4.

He was about 1" long. Any suggestions on the hot spots. Very shiny and wet.

Since your hot spots are not in critical areas I would just clone them out. Not sure but have you build the home made diffuser with paper towel for buffer. Can't say enough good things about in. Also if this slug was in the sun it's likely some of the hot spots were natural and not caused by your flash. I get the sun spots in spider eyes when they are out in the open, if I can I just clone them out. Never happens in the shade

I really like the spots on its head; would be less interesting without those.
