35mm Film Cannisters needed.

To all:

I am working with a local Occupational Therapist who, as an employee of a local university, builds complex control systems for the severely disabled. He has figured out a way to make reed control switches using 35 mm film cannisters as switch housings and decrease the cost from $80/switch to about $20/switch.

If anyone has any of these and they are considered excess, please send them to my office. I will send you a check for the shipping charges upon receipt.

Thanks in advance.

Bob, while I don't have any myself, I can ask some of my friends if they have any lying around.
One further detail though: Do you mean the plastic canisters with a lid. Or do you mean the metal canisters that is put into the camera with the film in it?

He needs the plastic containers with the lid. Color &/or translucency is of not concern.

Thanks

Bob

Oh Wabbit, aren't you a resourceful little bunny. That is exactly what I would have recommended, but since you beat me to the punch........
