Really could be considered new, comes with lens hood, lens caps on both ends, orginal box.

Has been used a few times, but find I don't need the zoom length I thought I did.

$675 plus shipping and insurance.

The easiest way to check worth of your used photo equipment is to look at completed listings on eBay or check with keh.com , the "World's Largest Used Camera Dealer".

That is a strange lens in that I'm seeing prices vary from $299 to $800+.

I just saw a glitch in Google...I entered your title which specifies 75-300mm and clicked on a hit in the top 10 which listed 70-300mm! It looks as though the 75-300mm is twice as costly (or more) as the 70-300mm lens. Maybe you know the difference since it is strange that both lenses have the same aperture.

I apologize for my error.

I did check around , and it is strange that the price varies so much.

This is a 4/3 micro lens which may be the difference.

Thanks for getting back to me with your findings.

I think I saw both lenses are for 4/3 and the only dif was 70-300mm and 75-300mm. I'll let you check it out.

Are you sure about the stats? My (non-micro) 70-300mm is f/4 to f/5.6. The "75-300," if as advertised, seems rather slow.

Yes I am, this lens is meant for the pen series (or pana 4/3). It focus quickly.

One of these days the micro 4/3 field will have faster long telephoto lenses.

On 4/3 camera the reach is 150-600mm
