The closer you get the shallower the DOF. I'm so use to nailing these with F/22 I have to regroup. You can't use extreme apertures F/36 as the diffraction kills the detail also. If your not squared up forget about it or just resolve to focusing on One Part of the subject and little else. I'm complaining now, but I'm just getting my feet wet. Nobody likes to go backwards before they go forwards, at least I don't

P.S. - I do like that the softbox is doing it's job. No blowouts on the dew drops.
