Canon 5d Mark ii
I bought a Canon 5d Mark ii and tried it a few times. Just can't used to the full frame. The camera is "like new". I have original and everything that came with it. Not a mark or scratch on it. This is the body only..includes battery and charger. Make reasonable offer. If you want to contact me directly, my email is Creakj@hotmail.com.
Not personally interested, but you might want to indicate location as those interested might be influenced by shipping considerations.
I am interested in your camera.
Hi Linda,
Thanks for writing. I was using the Canon 50D and the switch to the 5d ii just didn't work for me. I bought the camera from a physician At the hospital where I work. The camer was new in box..never used. I tried it on two different days..just not for me. i paid $1900. I would like to get $1700 and I would pay for shipping. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
Karen
Hi Karen. Thanks for emailing. I've really got the bug for a full frame...been looking at refurbished, but can't decide which way to go or how much I can spend. Is there any warranty left on your camera? Thanks. Linda
Linda,
No, there is not a warranty. When I bought the camera from him, I didn't even think about that. All of the paperwork is in the box but I don't have the original receipt.
You can purchase a brand new mark 2 with warranty for $1700
Didn't think about a warranty on a $2000 camera! Funny, that's the first thing came to my mind.
I do not see where you can purchase for $1700 other than Best Price Photo. (bad reviews) Where do you see it for $1700? If that is so, I will lower my price. Thank you.
I am a honest, reliable, trustworthy person. I am trying to sell a camera. If you are not interested in the camera and you think the price is too high, then ignore my posts. I said this once before and I will say it again.....there are many lovely people on this site but there are some that love to make unsolicited comments and often in a hateful way. Perhaps
"oh, you should have asked for a warranty" or "I did find the camera at XYZ store for $1700, so you should probably check" would have been a more welcomed response. I am not trying to cheat or scam anyone. I am just like you...a person that would like to sell a camera at a reasonable price. Geeezzzzzz Now I feel better.
I purchased it from B&H about 2 months ago on sale I am sure another sale will pop up soon
Hi Artful. I missed the great Christmas deals...my own fault. Wondering how much is "reasonable" to pay for a new Mark 5D. Thinking that the prices are going to come down because of the Mark III and the new 6D. Would you think refurbished is a reliable way to go? Thanks. Linda
The 5D line is expensive - all of them. That's why warranty is important. But there are lots of cameras out there, for a lot less money, that are capable of beautiful work. The 5D line and the 1D's are aimed at a real professional audience. Most of the "non" professionals that buy them will never put them to a test. Less money can be spent a fabulous equipment with maybe not so many bells and whistles, that believe it or not will produce just as good if not better results.
Hi Linda: I was looking to go refurbished when I seen the deal at B&H (which was less that the refurbished) , I wanted the mark 2 cause my classic 5D just didn't do all that the mark 2 could and being retired I couldn't afford the mark 3. I do like the full frame sensor but thats all a matter of preference I see here on UHH that many love the crop sensor. You can never tell when the price is right to buy so you have to go with what you feel is good but as with anything containing electronics a warranty is a must. You do get a warranty with refurbished just not as long.
Thanks...I agree with you on the warranty issue. I'll just have to keep my eyes open and keep shooting!
