There both great shots. That's a foul in #2. I hope they called it. It looks pretty flagrant.
Are you blue or white?

Lots of glare off slick shined floor an white wall. What were you're settings.

We were blue. AV settings, F2.8 and ISO 6400. Weird gym, couldn't find the sweet spot at all!

They almost look like advertisements for Nike.

Tungsten is tough...I use the Expodisc and have pretty good results.

Think 6400 just bit much try again start 400 or 200 with that 2'8 thats alot of light. Maybe kick the 2'8 down too.

can you post some of your indoor sports pics with those settings. I would appreciate seeing the results. Also what camera, lens and settings are you using for tungsten lighting?

As for the expodisk, can you explain how often do you use it during the course of a game to set your camera. I'm wondering how to use it during a game to get the best picture, possible. Any help you can give me, I would appreciate it since my photo budget, right now is limited.

Was high intensity light. I figured out lower i got in seating easier it was to get a decent shot. Got lower angle to the floor. The glare off the floor was big an bright. I did notice how the lighting changed whether it a bull riders basketball concert monster truck an hockey. Was about 4 different sets of lights hanging up there.

I use the expodisk before the game starts and it's good to go...the lighting doesn't change during the game.

wow, come on up to some of the gyms I shoot in, the lighting changes all the time. In a weeks time, I can shoot in a brand new 3 million dollar gym to one built in 1927 with the original lighting to a gym with 21 of the 34 lights burned out! Sorry, I get to shoot at D-1 gym, once or twice a year. Come on up to Michigan and shoot in some of the gyms I do and say the lighting doesn't change that much during a gym.
