Nice job ginnykuhn1,
Stunning job, excellent vision.
Hope it's the first of many to follow.
Your background is also well done allowing the boat to dominate the viewers interest nicely.
Will look forward to seeing more of your work here on UHH.

"Chasseur" was the name of the original Baltimore
schooner that sailed to England during the War of 1812 and brashly told King George they were under blockade (by one ship). She then sank or captured a large number of British merchant ships and was hailed back home as "The Pride of Baltimore." Hence the name of the first and second Pride of Baltimore.
Though the present ship is called the Pride of Baltimore, this little Dory which resides on the Pride is named "Chasseur" after the original schooner.

Congratulations Ginny, Great photograph and a very interesting bit history.
Wow published.
Will we still be able to talk to you? lol
Congrats.
Love the picture!
Whoopee!!! Congratulations!
Congrats! You deserve bragging right...
Did you do the background editing? Very interesting.
Good for you! I like the way you've captured the wood trim on the bow/gunwhales. It looks rich and nautical! Nice photo! I'd be excited too!
Very nice! Congratulations!
Congratulations!
Fantastic and what a way to start 2013, I hope you finish it with more magazine covers.
Lovely, and quite imaginative. Congratulations!
Stunning photo and congrats to you. Is it possible to see the original photo you started with? Meaning is it just the boat with a different background or did you do the whole cover yourself. I just don't know how these things work. Congrats again however it works.
I receive BoatUS magazine and now I can PROUDLY say I know who the photographer is. All of us UHH's are family so great to see your work published.
