Dems the purtiest green horses I ever did see!!!!

Just my opinion, but not worth the time and effort to PP a JPEG that is both severely under exposed for the subject and over exposed for the background. The composition isn't that great with the third horse's ear sticking out and the horizon tilted. Then there are those flies to deal with. Best to reshoot and get it right in camera.

I love horses and these guys are beautiful. So here is my edit. I have CS5 and did a lot to this image. Color adjustments, by way of selective color, hue and saturation, isolating areas that were very dark and working on them individually, healing and cloning tool to get rid of the spots all over the horses. I don't think those were scars, they looked more like noise.

Wendy,

That is awesome!! How much time did you spend?

I still stand by my statement that the photo is too much trouble for the final result. After all that work it still ends up to be an average photo at best. :-(

Thanks!!!! Spent about a half hour. Always like challenges and in doing this sort of thing, I get better at editing. I also like to help out, it's in my nature. Yes, not a great photo to begin with, so the outcome is so-so, but sure better than original!
