Here's a clever idea. The inventor needs investors to get it produced.

Nice for small, flatter lens. But in a event (wedding, fair, sports, etc.) they would get bounced, knocked and yanked around. But someone will back it, just not me. :-(

That was my thought. They're sticking out there with no lens caps.

Great concept and probably a little faster than the Low Pro. Low Pro has a similiar concept in the Lens Exchange Case 200AW
http://products.lowepro.com/product/SF-Lens-Exchange-Case-200-AW,2226,53.htm

But the Low Pro holds up to a 70-200. Holds them vertically and provides great protection. Single zip handle exposes lens and spare compartment for the lens coming off the camera. $ 49.95 from Low Pro but I have seen them as low as $36

Seems like something that might come in handy from time to time -- say you’re on site, shooting primes, and plan to switch back and forth between a wide angle and a normal -- but other than that…

This is a better alternative - the holster is too risky - wouldn't want to carry around an expensive lens exposed as shown.

Hi I agree with Traveler and Jerry, they are sticking out and would get bounced around a lot.

Clever idea. I've never worried about my lens being exposed and knocked around when mounted on-camera and carried over shoulder. How about the addition of one or two snap on lens covers tethered to the holster?
