inside a shell

Hi I took this outside on a bright day with a Canon Powershot G9
I have a Nikon D300 and a sigma 105mm1:2.8 DG macro lens and a ring flash. I also have a set of Kenko automatic extension tube set DG. I am trying to muddle through on my own with the help of books. I take it I have the correct equipment to get better macro shots than I have been doing.

Without scale or caption, we do not know magnification of your image. Is this 1:1 (life-size), or higher?

This is the shell on a bed of shells. I do not know he magnification as i got as close as I could on the macro setting. At the time I did not have the equipment I have now. And my mistake it was the outside of the shell. I have added a picture taken with the same camera of some tiny shells, to get the scale they are on a piece of kitchen paper.
