For most it is a bit early for bugs.... but you can still shoot.

Went a couple of feet into the yard and laid down in the grass and came back with these... Not as interesting as Martin's Jumping Spiders, but still had fun making these.

Really Great webs with water drops. And even better with the flowers in them.

These were taken with a stacked lens setup, a 57mm lens reversed mounted to the front of a 100mm macro lens, I don't remember my aperture settings but I am thinking either f/18 or f/22. Flash diffusion is always an important part of high mag macro, I use a large diffuser parked at the end of my lens with paper towel for the diffusing material and manual flash settings, the lower the better, but that is always determined by the first few shots I take.

These dew drops are tiny btw this is more than 2x magnification.

Thank you. Going right now to see what my 90mm macro lens will do. Think I need some sort of stacked lens setup to get closer

I love them!! No need for bugs when you can photograph that.

Nice imaginative shots. I can't do that. Problem #1 bridge camera- might not have this good of capability. Problem #2 the grass is buried underneath several inches of snow. Problem #3 it is only a high of 7 degrees today. If I laid in the snow it would freeze my rear end and a few other parts off.
