We're currently visiting my daughter and her family in Orlando. My wife and I took a walk around the neighborhood this afternoon and spotted a few interesting birds. Most are old hat to some of you, but we don't have those birds in Richmond, Virginia. *L* We'd especially like to know what #2 is.
This a good old whatchamacallit
This one's the real mystery
Not great, but it's my first capture of a bird in flight
A crane, a heron, or something else?
#1 is a white ibis
#2 is a male anhinga (also called a snake bird)
#3 is the white ibis again
#4 is a great white heron
regards
Larry

Thanks SO much, Larry. You'd think with all of the properly labeled bird pix here that I wouldn't have needed to ask. But, hey--my memory is 66, along with my body. *G* Again, many thanks.
