After reading the article on how much of an impact that flash duration has on stopping motion blur, I have felt that my flash head was set back to far away from my diffuser face, so I made a new one that is much more shallow. I shot a few shots with it and am hopeful that it has enabled me to reduce my power settings by just about 1/2 of the power that I was using before.
