HDR Photography -- Before and After
HDR Before & After Single Frame Photomatix

Obviously, the top photo is the "before". It is directly out of the camera without any post processing. It was taken in RAW. The second photo is the result of a single frame transfer processed with Photomatix. Both have their individual appeal.

In photo #2, I love what HDR did to the background peeking from behind the leaves. Nicely done.

Thanks. I believe the credit for that has to go to the lens. It was a Nikon 60mm f/2.8 macro. The older one, not the new model. It is excellent.
