Hi I am new to Ugly Hedgehog, I have been taking pictures for years. I live in Northeast Wisconsin. About 2 years ago I decided to move up to the DSLR's got my self a Nikon D3100 first then a couple months later got the Nikon D7000. I only have 4 lens so far all Nikon's 18-55mm, 55-200mm,18-105mm and the 70-300mm. I really love the D7000, and I think that I will be sticking with that one for awhile.
I love taking pictures of Birds, waterfalls, flowers, bugs, aniamls and of people. I work with RAW files most of the time now, but still take in jpg format to.

Thanks a friend told me about this Forum. Sorry It took so long for me to join.
Thanks Erv, my friend has said lots of good things about the site, and has giving me info from it. I am looking to get a good teleconter to go with my 70-300mm lens. Seeing that I can not afford to get a bigger lens. For when I am taking wildlife photos.

Good morning Sherry:) You will want to investigate those really good. You might be looking at an older Nikon TC to get every thing to work like AF. I have a Bower 2X that I am pretty happy with. They seem to have good glass in them. You should post this in on the main page and see what other folks say. I am sure you will get a ton of replies.

Greetings from west of you in Wisconsin's Last Wilderness, Presque Ise. Let's see some of those beautiful northern Wisconsin photos.
Maybe you should try to get a Nikon 400mm f/2.8G VR AF-S ED Telephoto Nikkor Lens before the eagle shoot Monday.
Very nice shots and welcome to UHH.
[quote=krus54114]Welcome to the Hog, Krus. I was born in Ashland, WI and have family in Beloit, WI. Now in Florida. When you post with "store original" like you did and I like it posted that way, all your camera data is available to us. ISO, shutter speed, ect. David
PS I do like titles, because if we have comments we can identify which picture.
Thanks Erv, I might do that.
LOL, thanks I will try to do that before Monday. And what is the diffence between Quote reply and Reply?
Meives, Thank you so much I did not know that. It would of saved me time looking for the info.
