Went back up highway 12 with my friend Dennis and earlier in the day we were skunked as far as eagles go. While waiting at the Oakcreek Wildlife Area for the elk to come over the hill we decided to go back up the canyon one more time. Dennis had walked back to get the Jeep while I looked for an eagle that had flown the other way. When he picked me up he had spotted another eagle in the top of a tree and as we passed by a second eagle flew over. I asked him to let me out as there was no safe place to park along that stretch of road. I got a series of 13 shots of these two while he was turning around.
