What I like about Picasa is that I can put together time-lapse videos using it. My camera has a continous-burst mode that takes pictures as long as I hold the button down, at about the rate of .8 sec between shots. I upload to Picasa and put them together and adjust the frame rate that I want and it builds the movie.
