What is a Prime lens? someone asked me ??? Been in photography quite a while haven't heard the term.......
A prime lens means a single focal length, not a zoom lens.

You have to compare apples to apples.

Hmmm. I thought a prime lens meant, the main lens you would put on your camera and use the most in the area of photography you love to shoot. ie; It would be the main lens you use as a portrait artist. Your prime portrait lens.
