My images seem somewhat cooler when I post them here as opposed to Facebook or viewing them on my system. has anyone else noticed this, or is it something I'm doing wrong?

Don't have time for a lengthy reply but what colors you see are dependent on your monitor, browser (Chrome, IE, etc.),
site, etc. They all handle (or don't handle) color profiles differently. Even the angle you view your screen changes the the color!
