Drove the 1000 miles out to see my daughter play a couple games. Guess that makes me a devoted dad LOL. Had to share some results. D3 college but they have a small court. Not much room on the floor so most shots were from the stands. :(

Thanks. Need to upgrade the camera too ... ISO restrictions are killing me.

85mm f1.8 on my canon XTi.
With a better camera (ISO currently limited to 1600) the lens would be killer.

Been looking at the 7D for a while. Love that camera. Actually considering the T4i and 60D now too because of money. Going to be a while before I buy anything unfortunately.
Thanks for the input dasloaf. Might just have to rent one for a day to see what it is like to not fight with low light anymore LOL.

Just for a heads up (since I did not post originals for some reason) ISO 800, 1/640, f1.8, WB auto, AI Servo. Camera was wicked cold and giving me added challenge till the end of the first half. Typically I set my WB but auto was not doing bad and I was more focused on the lens AF thawing. Cannot believe I left it in the car that long.
