Does anyone here use the GIMP open source photo editor? What do you like or dislike about Gimp?

I've used it in the past and have the latest version installed.
I find it has more of a learning curve than Paintshop Pro but is not as powerful as Photoshop.
But there are a few filters it has that I can't find anywhere else.
If money is a concern, it is definately the best of the free editors.

Thank you,hlmic! I'm using PS Elements 8 and wondered if the learning curve is worth the time spent to absorb all that. Are the extra bells and whistles worth the effort in your opinion?

Go to top of page, click "search" and type in GIMP. There are LOADS and LOADS of information and tutorials.
