competitive cheerleading pics

Did another competitive cheer competition and used a 24-70mmF2.8 set on AV setting with a constant f2.8 and iso at 6400. Gym lighting was poor especially in the warm up area and the fluctuation from area to area was fun to work with especially since you can't wander around during the routines. I sat next to the judges table on the floor and got the following pictures. Still learning on how to take the pictures in this setting. Crowd is hostile towards anyone around the mat blocking their view and the possibility of distracting a cheerleader during a routine!

I was wearing media credentials and it did not matter to the parents. they were the most hostile crowd I have ever seen at any sporting event. The kids were awesome!

Hockey Moms are bad, but cheerleader moms and dads are worse. I worked security in a ice arena and it was bad but this was worse!
