Just received permision from the admin to form a new group people can subscribe to and participate in caled the Christian Photography group. This group is for Christian photographers to share fellowship, photos that glorify God. Anything from church photos, baptisms, photos of the cross, anything including landscapes that inspire you to think of God. Those who are photographers for their church are especially welcome.

Non believers can post photos of churches, religious statues etc. However NO SNARKY COMMENTS. this is not the place to debate the existence of God. Testimonies of what God has done for you or brought you from are always welcome group.Sugestions are always encouraged. May God bless each and everyone of you and your families.

Hey thats great, maybe someone could start up a Moslem group and a Buddhist group and a Hindu group and an Atheists group and an Agnostics group.

I like the idea and am glad it is being done. I also have no problem with other groups starting up either. Mostly it is the Christians who are tolerant of other groups, not the other way around.

Nice idea...though I have no suitable images...I'll surf here for sure.

So...is it like a section of the forum..or a thread...or what?

I am not so sure that history would agree with you.

Does this mean since the ones who deem my photographs "sinful" have their own special place I can now post samples of my work here in the general forum?

I forgot to add, you have to subscribe to get it, just like the macro group etc. go to the home page scroll down the list of groups till you come to Christian photography group hit subscribe.

Lighthouse I have no problem with other groups be it Muslims, Buddhist, bowlers, Poles, or Shrines having their own groups. We Christians share something in common that those in the world don't have and don't understand. Also it provides a safe place where Christians don't have to worry about inappropriate language ( the use of profanity is increasing on the hog) or inappropriate subject matter.

I even will allow nonbelievers to post things. Say you had a great shot of the Notre Dame cathedral, you could post it there even if you weren't a believer. Remember lighthouse, Jesus loved you so much He went to the cross for you!

Good for you, Sinatraman.

When I asked Admin if I could start a Sarcasm Forum, but he said "When pigs fly!" Was he serious, or being sarcastic?

what part of NO SNARKY COMMENTS are you having trouble understanding? You don't like Christianity we get that. Don't open up a thread about God and leave negative messages. Just don't post. I do not care what you think. You are heading for a rude awakening when you die. Have to thank you for the comment though. It is proof that old satan doesn't want this to get goingin fear of how effective it can be!!!

Great idea.

Ok am I the only one that saw the funny behind this one statement? I want to say how awfully christian of you to ALLOW non-believers to post on an open forum that you don't own.

To whom are you speaking? The quote feature is a handy tool here on the forum.

Actually you modified the original post.
When I posted my first comment in the thread your orignal post only said "Just received permision from the admin to form a new group people can subscribe to and participate in caled the Christian Photography group."

I didn't think this was a thread about God.
I thought this was a post in the General Photography Discussion area about a Christian Photography Forum.

I actually don't have anything against Christianity.
What I often object to is the holier than thou and less than Christian attitude evident in a lot of the cross wavers and also evident in your post to me.
