I Don't Mind (kinda of a poem)

During the beginning of my cancer journey, I looked at cancer as an evil thing, as an actual demon.
It helped me to visualize this battle.
In fact I still view cancer as something evil that the demons rejoice in when one of us are attacked.
Enough said.....

I Don’t Mind…

I don’t mind what has been done…
I don’t care that you keep pushing…
I don’t mind that you’re under my skin…
I’ll keep doing…You keep doin’…

You came into my life so subtlety…
You came into my life so slowly…
You disguised yourself as my friend…
You removed your mask…Struck me with your hate…

I don’t care what you have done to me…
I don’t mind the screams that explode from my being…
I don’t care that you have burrowed into my soul…
I don’t mind that you feed me my pain…

You think since I don’t run away…
You think since I don’t pray for death….
You think since I don’t hang my head…
That I don’t feel the real you…

I got the message…
I got your obnoxious presence…
I got your gist…
I got a clue…

I don’t care what you do to me…
Cause you oughta see what I have planned for you…
When my last breath escapes me…
I will come looking…
When my last breath escapes me…
I will come hunting…

“Vengeance is mine,” says my Lord…
My idea of Heaven…
Is the hunting of your tormented being…
The execution of your kind…
“Vengeance” will be my new name…

Forever your,
BuddyLars

Cancer has touched most of our lives directly or indirectly.

I know it has mine …… my brother, my grandson, my grandfather, my father and many others around me.

Thank you for sharing your powerful message.

Rest easy Buddy, he is being challenged, fought and defeated every day. I fought him in Houston Texas and
defeated him, like a thief in the night I know he will be back but my back is straight in victory, not bent and humbled in defeat, I'm ready for him this time.

How inspiring is that!? Wow! The honesty, the trust and faith in the one that this battle belongs to! I realized once that God gives us many, many things. But vengeance is not one of them! Thank you for sharing the evidence and the substance of things hoped for. You should publish these
inspiring words. Thanks for sharing this with us.

My opinion is that there is a cure for cancer, but big pharma couldn't sell all those cancer fighting drugs if no one got cancer.
I know,I need more tin foil for my hat.

Yes you do, be nice if there were a simple pill to swallow but theres not.
Takes a lot of time, determination, patience and understanding but at times everyting falls in line. Dr. Lee and his staff at M.D. Anderson in Houston spent many long hours leading the fight. With God's hand on theirs everything fell in line for me.
Please don't belittle the battle by making argumentive foolish statements.
