Due to harsh sun-rays, the original image was over-exposed. I created 2 extra images from the original in photoshop, one underexposed and the second one I tried to make it as normal as possible. Then I took all images in Photomatrix and applied very light HDR. Finally took the image back into photoshop and did some minor adjusments with color balance, channel mixer, photo filters and shadows/highlights and came with the final product. I think it came out rather well.

Have to agree. Well done. Altho I do find the logo a little distracting.

Snoqualmie Falls - a sweet place, if the wind is calm you might be able to avoid mist on your lens too.

I need to dig through some photos and see if I can find an early spring heavy rain and quick snow melt photo. It's huge water.

Nice recovery on the photo.

Love the composite; ditch the logo. Nice job and makes an interesting composite.

I like the idea but the blown out white of the waterfall bothers me - you have lost all the water texture that was in your original image. You might try making a selection of the original waterfall, overlay it on the inhanced image and then blend with multiply which should bring some of that texture back into the water.

Think both are safe.
