I can't decide which one I like best. Opinions?
I think it is so interesting to hear opinions about photographs and how each of us can look at the same picture but experience completely different emotions. Which one do you like best and why (or not like at all)? Thanks so much.
Those are fun shots. Overall I think number one is more defined in subject matter and great to view! Of course you might like the dog in the other one...;)

I like the first picture better than the second. The first is a moving dynamic image with interest and impact. I might experiment and see how it looks with the bright area on the right cropped out or reduced.
The second photo is well done but not as interesting as the first and the blurred dog does not add but distracts from the main subject.
This is just my opinion and how my eyes view the scene, the bottom line is you have two fine images worth saving. 8-)
I think they are nice photos. I like the first one best because you can see more of the young lady's face and it shows more exuberance and animation. Can you tone down right side of the photo a little? It is somewhat distracting.
Thanks, everyone, for your feedback. It's great!

efinately the first..shows the action of the girl better..second one you don't get the feeling of action....I also don't mind the flare on the right..I think it explains the lighting!
I really like both but prefer the first one. The pure joy on the girls face is priceless!
#1 for me. Dog in background of #2 is a distraction.
First one is alive and tells you something. The second is just a picture. Just my thoughts as I looked at them.

Love them both, but#1 better. Her belly looks cold :)
I like the first better. The composition is more pleasing and less static than the second, and the photo has a spontaneous, totally fun and happy quality. The second is also fun, but to me seems divided into 3 parts: girl, snow, dog out of focus. This may not be very articulate but I have a pretty good sense of composition.

Technically, the second image is the beter one - well exposed and composed. The first image is more interesting to look at though. If you can adjust the exposure of the background of the first image to look like the background of the second image and sharpen the girl a bit more, there will be no contest. Well done.
