Has anyone been to Antelope Canyon near the Grand Canyon?

I was using my new 60D last April I have learned something since then but not enough.

Hi Curtis: I've seen some mind blowing photos of Antelope Canyon. As you already pointed out you are in the learning process. Don't feel bad many of us are in the same boat. Your photos are a bit dull and might be helped a bit in photoshop. Just keep on learning and practicing, the main thing is you are making progress.

If you do a "Antelope Canyon" under the search button, you will find quite a few postings. My favorites are those posted by SQUIRL033, one in particular is entitled "Antelope Canyon Revisted." Hope this is helpful to you.

I was there two years ago. It's a spiritual place. Here are a few of my shots.

Best to be at the canyon around noon-time when sun is shining down. Also, throw some sand up in the air so the dust will accentuate the light beam. They also feature tours for photographers and the indians have guides that will set all this up for you, too. Here is one I got a few years back.

Once you go there, you will want to go back; like I did.

I agree it is inspiring to be there.
Your pictures are stunning, thanks for sharing!
Did not know in advance of the place, needed something to do last day of vacation to see Grand Canyon and took a tour. Now it is the part of vacation we talk about the most!

You photographs are wonderful, I agree it is one of the places I want to someday go back to and be better prepared to capture the beauty of it.

Antelope Canyon is a magical place! Here are three pics taken this past summer. If you can go at a time to avoid the tourist rush (like about now), so much the better.

Cybermomm,

I agree, it sure was magical for me and the wife last April. We found it by Accident. We had a day at the end of our trip to the Grand Canyon without anything planned and decided to to do the Antelope Canyon Tour.

Best part of the whole trip!

You photos are great.
