The first two were taken with the 28-300mm. It is left on the one camera body almost all of the time. I have been very pleased with the results. I think for the price, it is very sharp.
The other three shots were with a 10-20mm.

This is a first year dog. They are born about April, weaned in July, and have almost reached full size by this time of the year. It has a nice fresh winter coat as well.

Hey Erv. I have to say, the last shot was taken just as I was getting back in my car from searching for a spot to get a good shot. Those two shots you mentioned were hand-held.
