Its not so much distortion as perspective. Have you seen tv wher you have
A couple different veiwing choices. 16-9 wide normal pan an scan it is just theway wide angles work

Definitely a perspective problem. The cupboard doors on the Left side, and the window frames on the right side are both skewed to the outside on the original. I used a perspective adjustment to bring them straight, but then had to crop to get rid of blank areas. Puppet warp would probably have been a better tool to use. They do look a tad bit skinny in the adjusted photo, so I may have gone a tad too far.

My Nikon P500 does this, because of the wide angle lens, best I could find is it is the camera on auto, makes for great sunset pics though
