Not enough dead bodies to be a popular piece of news.
How about we applaud when someone makes a stand, puts themselves between us and the bad guy, who do it not out of "glory" but because it is the right thing. Instead it remains just a local story. If this article was shown on the networks as much as the mass killings, maybe more people would get involved when they can.

This story just does not fit the narrative that they are trying to push. Every one knows that if someone other than the deranged maniac had a gun, countless bystanders would be killed in the crossfire. Better to disarm the law abiding public.
