Great photos and interesting subjects. Is this place close to where you live because you could have a little more fun with the subjects? It looks like an ideal location to try some HDR photos. Personally I find these historical locations lend themselves very nicely to the HDR medium. If you're into HDR it would be a good place to revisit. If you were lucky enough to bracket some of these exposures you could already try it. I'd love to see the results. Happy New Year!

Great shot of the mill that had me but then the pictures of the grain wagon stole my heart nice pictures. Here in South Dakota we only have thing like Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse to shoot Boring after 16 years of visits.Keep it up and BTW Happy New Years!!!

I like the shots of the wagon. But with lighting this flat and dull, you need to do something to enhance the building pictures. Try adjusting color and saturation, or converting to black and white and playing with the conversion. I think you'll like the results.

Again these were right out of the camera. I'll repost after a little tweaking.

I'm struck by the resemblance to some of Matthew Brady's Civil War location shots. Guessing the building is at least from that period or even earlier? If you were to B/W or sepia process that first shot, all you'd need is the photo of a Union general on the wall next to it.
